We all knew it, but now it's official. To give people an easy way to remember and think about what a cool place Plymouth is to live, work, shop or play, the City of Plymouth will simply say - Plymouth Rocks!
At a recent State of the Chamber breakfast held at St. John's Inn, Plymouth Chamber of Commerce Director Wes Graff informed chamber members of the new marketing theme, to enthusiastic support. He explained how research led to the idea of playing off the positive connection that Rock music has to all generations, particularly those under 35, gives the campaign a fresh and current feel to match the vibrancy of the Plymouth community.
The campaign will include an emphasis on online social network marketing through sites like Facebook. It will also include t-shirts, posters, banners and other approaches to market the community as great place to live, visit and work.
We couldn't agree more...Plymouth Rocks!
